Lake Coleridge High Country – so close but a world away
Lake Coleridge is located in the inland Canterbury/New Zealand’s South Island. About 35 km to the northwest of Methven. It has a surface area of 47 square kilometer and the maximum depth is 200m The lake is situated in an over-deepened valley formed by a glacier over 20,000 years ago.
Rakaia River Gorge
The Rakaia River is one of the largest braided rivers in New Zealand. It has a length of 150km and is a great very popular spot for salmon fishing.
